How do I prepare for my facial?
To ensure clients achieve optimal results from their facial treatment, we ask that you please take note of our pre-appointment instructions, listed below:
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your facial appointment
- Do not wear any makeup or skincare products
- Avoid waxing or threading for at least two weeks before your facial
- Inform your skin expert of all the skin concerns and issues you have, at the start of your appointment
- Avoid tanning for at least one week before your appointment
- Avoid trying new skincare products a week before your facial to avoid irritation
- Let your skin expert know of any allergies or medical conditions you may have
What aftercare instructions should I follow after my facial?
Now that you’ve had your facial, it’s essential to make sure your skin locks in all nourishment so you can experience optimal results from your treatment. Please take a look through our aftercare instructions, listed below.
- Avoid applying makeup or skincare products for a minimum of 24 hours
- Avoid direct sunlight for 48 hours
- Drink lots of water to hydrate your skin and body
- Sleep on clean sheets on your back for the first 24 hours
- Avoid touching or picking at your skin
- Eat a healthy, balanced diet if possible
- Avoid excessive sweating, swimming, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms for 72 hours minimum
How do I prepare for my waxing appointment?

Before coming in for waxing, you'll want to ensure that your hairs are at least 1/4" in length. We also recommend waiting a minimum of 4 weeks between each waxing appointment.

When you arrive, please let your estheticion know if you have any allergies or skin sensitivities to wax products. You can also check with your doctor or dermatologist to determine if waxing is safe for you.
